Experience stories together – now also in English!

“Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.” – Frederick Douglass

The city library (Stadtbibliothek) is a welcoming space for stories, language, and connection. Join us as we dive into the magical world of books – through play, storytelling, and the joy of shared imagination. “English Story Time” is specially designed for English-speaking children and their families, as well as anyone who understands and enjoys the English language. Through carefully chosen stories and texts, we inspire a love of reading and encourage children to explore and engage with what they hear. Each session includes story telling and an accompanied craft for both kids and parents to enjoy.

We look forward to welcoming you!
