Castle Rapperswil
Rapperswil castle most likely dates back to the beginning of the 13th century. From 1870 to 1927 it accommodated the Polish national Museum, established by Polish emigrants under the leadership of Count Ladislaus Plater.
In 1975 a permanent exhibition devoted to Poland’s contribution to Western civilization was open to the public on the top floor of the castle. The “Liberty of Poland†column, erected in front of the castle in 1868, is a symbol of the solidarity of the Swiss with all those struggling to gain freedom.

Vineyards on lake Zurich are first mentioned in 981. Vines are of the Pinot Noir grape, producing the "Clevner" wine.
A deer park with 10 to 15 animals has been situated at Lindenhof since 1871. It commemorates an old legend connected with the founding of the town.
